My name is Fabiana, and I was born and raised in Rome, surrounded by my family and the irresistible aroma of food coming out of our pots.
You might be surprised to learn that I’m actually a lawyer by day, but my true passion has always simmered away like a delicious ragu – food!
My heaven in the kitchen
Stepping into my kitchen has always been my way of unwinding and de-stressing. The rhythmic chopping of vegetables, the bubbling of sauces, and the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked bread have a magical effect on me. It’s like therapy for both my soul and my stomach.
Cooking is more than just a hobby for me; it’s an art form, a way to express my creativity and share my love for my heritage with others. I’m passionate about using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create authentic Italian dishes that are both delicious and comforting.
Two mischievous cats and a big passion
And let’s not forget my two sous chefs, Elvis and Leila, my mischievous yet adorable cats. They are always underfoot, supervising my culinary creations and offering their expert opinions (mostly meows and purrs) on the taste of each dish. In fact, they’re such picky eaters that I know if they approve of a recipe, it must be truly delicious!
Maybe you’ll see them peeking around the kitchen every now and then.
